Spada Trailhawk review: this adventure helmet has an internal sun visor, adjustable intake vents and a removable, washable lining. The checked version also lists a Pinlock insert and a quick-release chin strap. The retailer’s feature list and specification table disagree on shell material, so confirm that detail for the version you intend to buy.

Ventilation, visor and upkeep
Multi-position intake vents let the rider adjust incoming air, and the channelled EPS is part of the listed ventilation design. The outer visor has a locking button and anti-scratch treatment. Check that you can operate the vents and visor lock while wearing your usual gloves.
The washable lining can be removed for routine care. Follow the supplied instructions, especially when cleaning the visor and anti-fog insert, and confirm the exact supplied visor equipment for the selected colour.
Protection and construction
The listed approval is ECE 22.06. Check the exact helmet label and specification for the version you are buying, particularly if you need it for a track event.
Fit and adjustment
The chin-strap fastening is Quick Release. Make sure you are comfortable operating that fastening and adjusting it securely before choosing the helmet.
Visor and visibility
The listing includes a Pinlock insert. Confirm the supplied visor and insert combination for your chosen version, especially if you are comparing differently priced graphics.
Comfort and everyday use
The interior is removable for cleaning. Follow the manufacturer’s care instructions and refit the pads in their original positions.
Versions and options
The checked listing links to these options: Raptor Black / Grey, Matt Black, Gloss White, Raptor Green, Raptor Orange, Raptor Red / Blue / White. Check the selected version and available sizes before ordering; the linked price may apply to a particular option.
