This Tucano Urbano Hyperlink review examines a modular helmet with a removable chin guard, P/J approval and an internal sun visor. The checked standard version includes a Pinlock insert, which is an important package difference when comparing it with the Smartcom-equipped Midland offer.

Chin-guard fitting and supplied visor insert
The chin guard attaches with a bayonet clasp. Follow the instructions for fitting, removal and locking in the permitted configurations; a removed chin guard changes the coverage around the face. Check the latch operation and visor movement during an in-person fitting.
The polycarbonate shell contains dual-density EPS with ventilation channels and three air intakes. The washable microfibre interior includes Aero3D mesh and space around the ears. Try glasses with the sun visor lowered, and confirm that any optional communication equipment fits without disturbing the liner or creating local pressure.
Protection and construction
The listed approval is ECE 22.06. Check the exact helmet label and specification for the version you are buying, particularly if you need it for a track event.
Fit and adjustment
The chin-strap fastening is Quick Release. Make sure you are comfortable operating that fastening and adjusting it securely before choosing the helmet.
Visor and visibility
The listing includes a Pinlock insert. Confirm the supplied visor and insert combination for your chosen version, especially if you are comparing differently priced graphics.
Comfort and everyday use
The interior is removable for cleaning. Follow the manufacturer’s care instructions and refit the pads in their original positions.
Versions and options
The checked listing links to these options: Speed White / Blue / Red, Glossy Nardo Grey, Matt Light Grey, Matt Black. Check the selected version and available sizes before ordering; the linked price may apply to a particular option.
