This Tucano Urbano El'Fan review considers an open-face thermoplastic helmet with a large clear visor, retractable sun visor and removable neck roll. Its supplied visor-less covers offer a configuration choice, while Smartcom by Midland is an optional system rather than included equipment.

Visor configurations and interior care
The listing includes specific covers for use without the outer visor. Follow the fitting instructions for that configuration and choose suitable eye protection; removing the visor changes exposure to air and debris. The internal sun visor is removable through its quick-release system.
The liner uses microfibre and Aero3D mesh, with perforations in the top and two ventilation openings. The neck roll and interior are removable, so check the care instructions for each component before washing. Two shell sizes cover the range, but fitting with the strap fastened remains necessary to assess the internal shape.
Protection and construction
The listed approval is ECE 22.06. Check the exact helmet label and specification for the version you are buying, particularly if you need it for a track event.
Fit and adjustment
The chin-strap fastening is Quick Release. Make sure you are comfortable operating that fastening and adjusting it securely before choosing the helmet.
Comfort and everyday use
The interior is removable for cleaning. Follow the manufacturer’s care instructions and refit the pads in their original positions.
Versions and options
The checked listing links to these options: Matt Sand, Matt Black / Anthracite, Matt Blue. Check the selected version and available sizes before ordering; the linked price may apply to a particular option.
