This Sidi Taurus Gore-Tex CE Boots review examines a touring boot with two NUUN adjustment dials, three-point ankle support and a waterproof membrane. Its microfibre and TPU construction, calf stretch panel and Materiis sole provide useful details to compare during a fitting.

The waterproof membrane and closure details are confirmed by Sidi: Sidi Taurus GTX specification.
Dual-dial closure and ankle movement
The two NUUN 001M dials tighten the closure, while the opening and stretch panel provide room to position the upper around the calf. Practise releasing and securing the system while stationary, with the socks and trousers you normally use. The dial arrangement should hold the foot evenly; do not assume tightening it further will compensate for the wrong size or shape.
Three-point support around the ankle is designed to combine support with movement. Check how the boot articulates when reaching the controls, and whether the shin area aligns with your leg. Sidi confirms the Gore-Tex waterproof membrane and Materiis rubber sole. These specifications are relevant to adventure touring, but they do not establish a measured grip or comfort result on your own motorcycle. Inspect cleaning and replacement-part guidance before relying on the closure or sole as a long-term maintenance advantage.
Protection and construction
The specification lists protection at the shin, heel and ankle. Check that these areas sit correctly when you adopt your riding position.
Versions and options
The checked listing links to these options: Black, Storm Grey, Sand / Ochre, Deep Forest. Check the selected version and available sizes before ordering; the linked price may apply to a particular option.
