This Alpinestars Belize Drystar Oiled Boots review examines a leather touring design with a Drystar membrane, two buckles and lateral Flexi-Blade support. The wide opening and removable footbed are useful fitting details, while the reinforced sole deserves a check against your motorcycle’s controls.

Wide entry and Flexi-Blade support
The opening is secured by two polymer buckles with a ratchet adjustment and quick-release locking, plus an upper hook-and-loop flap. Practise the complete fastening sequence while stationary, then check whether tension remains even around the ankle and calf. The lateral Flexi-Blade system supplies a supported flex point; it should sit correctly on your leg when you adopt your riding position.
The leather upper uses microfibre flex sections at the front and rear, with TPU protection around the shin and calf and reinforced heel and toe areas. The Drystar layer sits between the upper and lining. A steel shank reinforces the insole, and the removable EVA footbed has a Lycra surface. Check the sole’s feel at the footrests and the clearance beneath the gear lever, rather than judging flexibility from the accordion sections alone.
Protection and construction
The specification lists protection at the ankle, shin and heel. Check that these areas sit correctly when you adopt your riding position.
