Layered fastening and Multi Link Control
The inner instep lacing works with a lateral zip and micro-adjustable ratchet at the top. Follow the complete fastening sequence, keeping the zip pull secured by its tab, then assess the tension around the foot and calf. The external Multi Link Control structure supports the ankle and Achilles area; check its alignment and movement with your knee bent at the controls.
Front and rear accordion sections provide flex around the supported upper. The toe slider uses screw-in replacement, and heel sliders are also listed as replaceable, so identify the correct parts for this V2 model when servicing it. Ventilation areas are built into the heel and shin components, while the checked version does not list a waterproof membrane. Assess expected weather separately. The removable EVA footbed and rubber sole should be tried with your normal socks, paying attention to heel retention and clearance under the gear lever.
Protection and construction
The specification lists protection at the shin, toe sliders, heel and ankle. Check that these areas sit correctly when you adopt your riding position.
Versions and options
The checked listing links to these options: Black / White / Fluo Yellow, Black / Dark Grey, Black, Black / White / Fluo Red. Check the selected version and available sizes before ordering; the linked price may apply to a particular option.
