Dual pivots, gaiter and enduro sole
The medial and lateral pivots support movement on both sides of the ankle. Check their position with the knee bent and with your feet on the pegs, then move between seated and standing postures while stationary. The buckle system combines polymer components with aluminium frames and a quick-release locking arrangement. Adjust it with your normal socks and riding trousers before judging the expanded calf range.
The upper uses PU-reinforced microfibre with TPU components around the foot and lower leg. Drystar supplies the waterproof layer, while the extended gaiter helps close the upper against water and dirt. It still needs to overlap correctly with your trousers. The enduro dual-compound sole forms part of the foot structure; assess its tread, gear-lever clearance and brake-pedal contact on your own bike. Softer front flex sections do not remove the need to check the movement available through the complete protective boot.
