Lateral flex control and enduro tread

The lateral control structure reinforces the ankle while allowing a defined movement path. Check its position with your knee bent and while moving between seated and standing postures on the stationary motorcycle. The polyurethane buckles have micrometric adjustment, so set them individually with your normal riding socks and trousers. They should secure the boot without forcing the upper or creating a pressure point across the instep.

The microfibre construction contains an E-Dry waterproof membrane. Its presence does not seal the opening around your leg, making trouser overlap and correct closure important in wet conditions. The rubber outsole has a sculpted enduro tread: check how it meets your pegs, the space beneath the gear lever and your ability to reach the brake pedal. A pronounced tread is not a guarantee of grip on every surface. Try a short indoor walk as well, and follow the manufacturer’s cleaning and drying instructions for the complete boot.

Protection and construction

The specification lists protection at the ankle. Check that these areas sit correctly when you adopt your riding position.
