This MT Cosmo SV review looks at an open-face helmet with a detachable rear spoiler, quick-change outer visor and retractable sun visor. Its micrometric fastening, removable lining and intercom preparation are practical points to compare during a fitting.

Visors, controls and optional equipment
The MT-QVSS system allows the outer visor to be changed, while a separate lever operates the sun visor. Try both controls with your gloves and check the visor’s clearance around your glasses.
The rear spoiler is removable without tools. Front and top air inlets form the ventilation layout; the specification does not establish noise levels or cooling on every motorcycle.
The lining is removable and washable. The helmet is prepared for an MT-Rider Sync intercom using the UCS provision, but readiness does not mean the communication unit is included.
Protection and construction
The listed approval is ECE 22.06. Check the exact helmet label and specification for the version you are buying, particularly if you need it for a track event.
Fit and adjustment
The chin-strap fastening is Quick Release. Make sure you are comfortable operating that fastening and adjusting it securely before choosing the helmet.
Comfort and everyday use
The interior is removable for cleaning. Follow the manufacturer’s care instructions and refit the pads in their original positions.

The checked listing links to these options: Silence Gloss Fluo, Pure Matt Black, Pure Gloss White, Icarus Gloss White / Red / Navy, Icarus White / Grey / Pink / Navy, Icarus Matt Black / Blue / White, Silence Gloss Black.
