This Nexx X.R3R review covers the X-MATRIX 2 version with mixed aramid-fibre and carbon construction. Its double-locking visor, included Pinlock insert and double-D retention are the central features; the separately specified Pro FIM Evo Carbon model should be compared on its own terms.

Visor mechanism and ventilation layout
The Lexan visor uses a double lock and a tool-free recoil removal system. Check that you can operate the locking mechanism with riding gloves and follow the instructions when removing it. A double rubber seal surrounds the visor; its condition and correct seating matter during maintenance.
Six intakes and four exhaust vents form the ventilation layout, with a rear spoiler and removable breath guard also listed. The X.MART interior uses removable cheek pads and a skull liner. These are useful care and fit features, but shell material and a spoiler alone do not establish track eligibility or real-world noise levels.
Protection and construction
The listed approval is ECE 22.06. Check the exact helmet label and specification for the version you are buying, particularly if you need it for a track event.
Fit and adjustment
The chin-strap fastening is Double-D. Make sure you are comfortable operating that fastening and adjusting it securely before choosing the helmet.
Visor and visibility
The listing includes a Pinlock insert. Confirm the supplied visor and insert combination for your chosen version, especially if you are comparing differently priced graphics.
Comfort and everyday use
The interior is removable for cleaning. Follow the manufacturer’s care instructions and refit the pads in their original positions.
