This Scorpion Exo-Junior Air review focuses on its youth fit, inflatable Airfit cheek pads and removable lining. Those features make adjustment and cleaning relevant buying considerations, but cheek-pad inflation cannot correct an unsuitable helmet size or head shape.

Youth fit and Airfit adjustment
Airfit inflates the cheek pads to adjust their contact with the face. Start with the correct size and follow the fitting instructions; do not buy an oversized helmet for a child to grow into.
The specification also lists an anti-scratch visor, a breath box and Kwikfit cheek pads for glasses. Check visor clearance and the fit of the child’s own glasses during a fitting.
The removable KwikWick lining can be cleaned according to Scorpion’s instructions. Allow the pads to dry fully and refit them correctly before the next use.
Protection and construction
The listed approval is ECE 22.06. Check the exact helmet label and specification for the version you are buying, particularly if you need it for a track event.
Fit and adjustment
The chin-strap fastening is Quick Release. Make sure you are comfortable operating that fastening and adjusting it securely before choosing the helmet.
Comfort and everyday use
The interior is removable for cleaning. Follow the manufacturer’s care instructions and refit the pads in their original positions.
Versions and options
The checked listing links to these options: Fun White / Blue. Check the selected version and available sizes before ordering; the linked price may apply to a particular option.
