Visors and removable neck roll
The clear polycarbonate visor has an anti-scratch treatment, while the internal sun visor retracts separately and can be removed through a quick-release system. Check clearance with your glasses and the ease of reaching each control with gloves. The demi-jet form leaves the chin exposed.
The interior combines microfibre, Aero3D mesh and a perforated neck roll. Follow the removal and cleaning instructions for these parts, and confirm the correct speaker placement if you add Smartcom later. The separately named ByMidland package includes communication equipment, so compare box contents as well as the helmet price.
Protection and construction
The listed approval is ECE 22.06. Check the exact helmet label and specification for the version you are buying, particularly if you need it for a track event.
Fit and adjustment
The chin-strap fastening is Quick Release. Make sure you are comfortable operating that fastening and adjusting it securely before choosing the helmet.
Comfort and everyday use
The interior is removable for cleaning. Follow the manufacturer’s care instructions and refit the pads in their original positions.
Versions and options
The checked listing links to these options: Matt Bordeaux, Matt Airborne Green, Matt Anthracite Grey, Gloss Nardo Grey. Check the selected version and available sizes before ordering; the linked price may apply to a particular option.
